Itinerary (Day wise)
Welcome to Srinagar, the Venice of Kashmir. Upon your arrival, reach the pick-up point, Tourist Reception Center on your own to get transferred to the campsite in Sonamarg and check-in. You can relax at the campsite or explore the beautiful town of Sonmarg and see the amazing Thajiwas Glacier, Baltal Valley, and many more attractions. After an amazing day, head back to the campsite for an overnight stay.
Have a beautiful beginning of the day as you wake up with a backdrop of lush greenery. After having breakfast, pack your bags and leave for Nichnai, the Valley of Wild Flowers. You will pass via Shekdur, where you can take a stopover to have maggie and tea. Continue the journey, and after reaching the Nichnai campsite, enjoy your overnight stay.
Get dressed up in your comfortable clothes to begin your trek towards Vishansar Lake. As you walk along the riverbank, enjoy a gradual ascent through the meadow that will take you to the Nichnai Pass, giving panoramic views of the Sonamarg valley. Continue your journey, which will soon lead you to Vishansar Lake, a breathtaking sight with towering mountains, and enjoy your overnight stay.
After you pack up, embark on a trek to Krishansar Peak, located 500 ft. above the campsite. Then cross and reach the other side of the reservoir, where the path will lead you to Krishansar Lake, followed by a trek to Gadsar Pass, the highest point of your trek. Continue the journey towards Gadsar Lake, a lake adorned with exotic flowers on both sides. Upon arrival, report to the nearest Army Camp, and after completing the formalities, settle in your camp for an overnight stay.
Brace yourself for a thrilling journey through varied terrain, experiencing both flat and challenging inclines as you leave for Satsar Lake. As you ascend, enjoy a brief break at Maengandob, a region surrounded by high mountains. Upon reaching the first of Satsar Lake, get your IDs verified with the army officials and settle yourself in your camps for an overnight stay.
Prepare yourself for an adventurous day as you leave the campsite and ascend to the Gangabal and Nunkol Lakes, passing through the final Satsar Lakes. On the way, admire the views surrounding the trail, along with Gujjar huts and several ridges. As you reach the summit, take-in the views of the twin lakes before continuing your trek toward the sacred lake of the Hindus, Nundkol. Conclude your trek at the beautiful Gangabal Lake, where you will settle at your camps for an overnight stay.
As you leave the campsite, begin your downhill journey towards Naranag Village, known for its scenic meadows. Upon reaching the village, immerse yourself in the beauty of the place. Also, you can visit the ancient Naranag Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later, get transferred to the drop-off point in Srinagar, where your trip comes to an end. Have a safe journey back home.

Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check in, or a late checkout is solely based on the discretion of the hotel. Please note that AC will be switched off during up-hill drives and at certain other times if you have opted for the ac vehcle. This will be completely dependent on the driverโs discretion. The itinerary is fixed and cannot be modified. Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal. In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking. For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process refund once we will receive the amount in our account from the service provider. Also, for any activity which is complimentary and not charged to Joy Tour and Travels & guest, no refund will be processed. Both Gondola Ride and Shikara Ride are subject to weather conditions. In case of cancellations arising due to bad weather or maintenance, a refund of the activities will be provided after receiving the amount in our account from the vendor. Given the region's cool climate, generally hotel rooms do not have air-conditioners. Should you wish to book an air-conditioned room, do get in touch with your Joy representative as these would be subject to availability and at an additional cost. Room heaters will be provided by the hotel on request and on a direct payment basis. In case of a houseboat stay, an extra amount will be charged for Bukhari (traditional heater) for which the payment must be made directly at the location. Please note that room heaters in hotels and houseboats will be available for a fixed time only. During peak winters, hot water supply at the hotel may be limited or time bound. Accommodation in the quaint houseboats of Kashmir is purely for the experience. Unlike hotels, houseboats are faced with certain limitations such as lack of transportation between the houseboat and land, limited food menu, intermittent power supply and water supply, etc. In Gulmarg, the horseman union does not allow any vehicle to drop or pick up guests at/from the gondola. All sightseeing tours are also prohibited by the union. Aru Valley, Chandanwari and Betaab Valley at Pahalgam are not part of the itinerary (unless included) due to restrictions by the local transport union. You have an hour each to enjoy the picturesque snow-clad mountains and the green valleys of Aru Valley, Betab Valley and Chandanwari in Pahalgam. If you wish to spend more time exploring these areas, you would have to pay the applicable additional amount to the driver/taxi union. Only vehicles allotted by the Local Unions of Pahalgam and Sonmarg can be used for sightseeing in the regions, and may not be as per the usual standards of Joy Tour and Travels. During winter, the road to Sonmarg remains closed and vehicles can only go up to Gagangir. For Sonmarg sightseeing, our vehicle will take the guest to the Sonmarg taxi stand. From there, the guest needs to hire a pony/local union cab for sightseeing. Thajwas Glacier, Zero Point at Sonmarg are not included in the tour, due to restrictions laid down by the local union. Due to a ban on new construction in Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and a few areas of Srinagar such as Dal Lake and Boulevard Road, some hotels may appear to be in a dilapidated state. Rest assured, these hotels provide excellent facilities and hospitality. In case of road closure due to snow and slippery roads, our vehicle will not be allowed to ply as a precautionary measure. This is as per govt./administration orders. Only snow jeeps/chained vehicles are allowed to ply. These vehicles can be hired on a direct payment basis or the same can be arranged by us at an additional cost. The package price doesnโt include special dinner or mandatory charges at time levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. Joy Tour and Travels shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However Joy Tour and Travels may not have this information readily available all the time. In case your package needs to be cancelled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. Joy Tour and Travels shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.Joy Tour and Travels reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / rerouting of flights, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this. Moreover, any additional costinvolved due to Force Majeure cases will have to be borne by guest. Refund policy in case guest cancels or postpones due to any reason. If company finds a genuine reason after proper investigation will issue a credit note as per the company policy, that credit note can be utilized for upcoming tour valid for one year from the date of issuance. If You Have A Complaint: We aim to provide the best tour package possible based on your preference. However, if you are not satisfied please complain as soon as possible to the relevant person or representative and we will do everything reasonably possible to sort the problem out. If you are still not satisfied, If you do not have the services of a Representative, you must contact us at the given Email ID or Phone Number during the tour. No complaints or refund requests for the same be entertained after the tour ends. Please Note: Services such as Shikara rides, union taxis, the Gulmarg Gondola, local shopping experiences, and pony rides are operated by independent providers and are not directly managed or controlled by our travel agency. While we are happy to assist with information or guidance regarding these services, we cannot be held responsible for any issues, delays, or disputes that may arise from their use
